TECHNOLOGY STOCKS RECOVER AFTER A SHARP DROP
Technology and artificial intelligence stocks rebounded slightly on Friday on Wall Street, after a sharp drop that wiped out several trillion dollars in market capitalization. The Nasdaq rose 1.1%, boosted in particular by the recovery of Nvidia, Tesla, and SpaceX. Markets remain under pressure, however, especially in Asia and Europe, amid concerns about massive investments in AI and the upcoming regulations announced by US Democrats. Meanwhile, the United States recorded 165,000 new jobs in October, a better-than-expected result that demonstrates some resilience in the American economy.
